After a long, long road, Michelle and Allan Eccles finally had the oppurtunity in 2008, to have a place to call "their own."  Eccles Family Farm, a little farmette in Uniondale PA, is a dream come true for this family.  Allan and Michelle, and their two daughters, plan on, and already are, making this facility a nice, personable place for many others to enjoy as much as they do.  With a lot of great things happening in 2009....the Eccles family want to meet YOU, and be a part of your horse plans!

Who is Michelle Eccles?

Michelle is a 2002 graduate of the John and Josh Lyons Certification.  After apprenticing with John Lyons trainer, Kathy Huggins in 2001, Michelle knew exactly what she wanted to do, and that was to "teach" horses, and people.  Traveling to Colorado, and working with John and Josh has been the ultimate experience for Michelle.

It all began when Michelle was a teenager, showing and barrel racing competivley every weekend.  Having a good time, had a wonderful QH mare, Impressive Cheeky...things were great.  Until it was time to load Cheeky into the trailer!  HOurs and hours, try this, try that.  Finally a woman approached Michelle, and said, "You should look into John Lyons."  And the rest was history--if Michelle could teach Cheeky to load willingly, which was exactly what she did... the possibilites were endless!!!

Michelle continued to learn, and continued to teach horses, and owners to learn a good way, a safe way, to do things with their horses.
